Terres Inovia is the technical institute for research and innovation dedicated to oilseed crops, grain legumes, and hemp. It supports farmers and value chains in strengthening oil and protein sovereignty, advancing a competitive agroecological transition, adapting to climate change, and improving decision-making.
With an annual budget of €21 million—primarily funded through interprofessional contributions (CVO) from the vegetable oils and proteins sector—Terres Inovia brings together a team of 200 staff across 19 sites, engaged in 100 collaborative R&D projects. Terres Inovia is certified “CSR Committed” in accordance with ISO 26000 standards.
Terres Univia is the interprofessional organization for vegetable oils and proteins. It brings together the main professional associations and federations involved in the production, marketing, processing, and use of oilseed and protein-rich crops. Its missions include: developing knowledge of production and markets; promoting the sector and its products; managing quality schemes; supporting R&D initiatives; structuring professional practices; and disseminating knowledge to industry stakeholders.
FOP (French Federation of Oilseed and Protein Crop Producers) is a specialized association of FNSEA. It represents producers of oilseed crops (rapeseed, sunflower, soybean, oilseed flax, olive, etc.) and protein crops (peas, faba beans, lupins, etc.). Its mission is to defend the interests of nearly 100,000 producers across France and to enhance the value of their production.
